Tables you can push together
Put a run of neighbouring tables in one group, then set each table's group when you edit it.
Grouped tables are filled last
When a small party fits either a grouped table or an ungrouped one, we use the ungrouped one first, so your run stays whole for a big group. That is the trade: these tables are kept in reserve.
Up to 4 tables are ever pushed together, and only within one group. Seats are counted as the plain total, so we never promise a seat the join might not give you.
