A Booksy alternative priced in Australian dollars
The short answer
Booksy has no Australian pricing page and no AUD figure: US$29.99 a month plus US$20 a month for each extra staff login. Gaplessly prices everything in AUD, and Solo is free up to 50 bookings a month and A$19 in a busier one.

What Booksy does well
One plan, every feature included, no tier to think about. That is a genuinely simple pitch, and their own FAQ leans into it: "no higher tiers for access to more features, no monthly feature add-on fees." Their marketplace commission is also fair as commissions go: it only applies once, only on a client's first visit, and only while their "Boost" marketing feature is switched on, which is optional and off by default.
The currency question
Booksy's own pricing page is US-dollar only. There is no Australian dollar figure published anywhere on it, and their equivalent Australian-market page does not exist as a separate URL. A figure you may see elsewhere converted into AUD is somebody else's conversion, not Booksy's own number, and it moves with the exchange rate on top of whatever their listed price is.
We publish every price in the currency you actually bill your clients in. What you read on the pricing page is what you budget against, with nothing to convert.
The per-seat math, in their own currency
Booksy includes one user in the base US$29.99 and charges US$20 for each additional one, so five staff is US$29.99 plus four extra seats at US$20, US$109.99 a month before tax. Our Growth plan includes 3 people and adds a seat for A$12, so five staff is A$83 a month. The two numbers are in different currencies and are not a direct dollar-for-dollar comparison, but the shape is the same one this whole route keeps coming back to: their bill is multiplied by headcount past the first person, and ours mostly is not.
When Booksy is the right choice
You want one flat number with every feature unlocked and no tier to think about, you are comfortable billing in US dollars, and you want a real consumer marketplace listing you can optionally boost. Their commission is fair as commissions go: one-time, opt-in, and charged only when Boost actually brings a first-time client through the door.
Common questions
How much does Booksy cost for a team of five?
US$109.99 a month before tax: the US$29.99 base plan plus four additional staff logins at US$20 each. Figures read from biz.booksy.com/pricing on 27 August 2026, published in US dollars with no AUD figure on the page.
Does Gaplessly charge per staff login the way Booksy does?
Not in the same shape. Only team members clients can book count, so a receptionist's or manager's login is free. Growth includes 3 and adds one for A$12; Pro includes 10, adds one for A$10 and never passes A$199 a month for a team of up to 25. Neither multiplies a flat per-user charge across your whole team the way Booksy's US$20-per-head add-on does.
Is Booksy's marketplace commission fair?
By the standard of this category, yes. It is one-time, applies only to a client's first visit, and only while their optional Boost feature is switched on, which is off unless you turn it on. That is a fairer shape than a marketplace fee charged on every visit.
Can I move my client list and services across from Booksy?
Yes. Export your data and we will import your clients, services and staff. For the first 50 businesses we do the whole setup ourselves within 48 hours at no cost.
