A SimplyBook.me alternative with no booking cap
The short answer
SimplyBook.me prices its plans by a monthly booking cap, 50 to 2,000; our appointment plans have none. Both start free, theirs up to 50 bookings a month and ours up to 50, but a busier month is A$14 on their Basic plan (up to 100) against A$19 on our Solo plan.

Start with the part that favours them
If your business does 50 bookings a month or fewer, SimplyBook.me's Free plan is A$0, and our Solo plan is free up to 50 too. Past that, their Basic tier at A$14 for 100 bookings is cheaper in dollar terms than a A$19 Solo month. We are not going to pretend otherwise: for a low, stable volume, their ladder can be the cheaper choice.
The trade is the ladder itself. The moment your volume is no longer low and stable, the plan you are on stops being the one you need.
A ladder built entirely on volume
Most vendors in this category differentiate their plans by team size or by features. SimplyBook.me's own pricing page differentiates by how many bookings a month you are allowed to take: 50 on Free, 100 on Basic, 500 on Standard, 2,000 on Premium, with an unpriced Enterprise tier for multi-location businesses above that.
That makes the upgrade decision a permission decision rather than a features decision. A business that outgrows its plan is not choosing to pay for something new; it is paying to keep taking the bookings it already earned.
What we do instead
Our appointment plans have no booking cap. Solo is free up to 50 bookings a month and A$19 in a busier one, and on Growth and Pro a good month and a quiet month cost exactly the same.
When SimplyBook.me is the right choice
Your volume is genuinely low and stable, and you want a long list of niche features at a low price. At 50 or 80 bookings a month their Basic plan is inexpensive and the cap never touches you. The model only turns against you when you get busy.
Common questions
How many bookings does SimplyBook.me allow before I have to upgrade?
50 a month on their Free plan, 100 on Basic (A$14), 500 on Standard (A$28) and 2,000 on Premium (A$80), each a separate paid tier on their own pricing page. Figures read from simplybook.me/en/pricing on 11 August 2026.
Does Gaplessly cap bookings?
Not on appointment plans. Solo is free up to 50 bookings a month; with a card on file, a busier month is A$19, and without one we give 7 days' notice before online booking pauses. Growth and Pro never change with volume. The only line is fair use, 1,000 bookings a month per team member, and we contact you before anything changes.
Is SimplyBook.me cheaper for a small, low-volume business?
It can be, in raw dollars. Their Free plan covers 50 bookings a month and our Solo plan is free up to 50, but past that their Basic plan is A$14 for 100 against a A$19 Solo month. If your volume is genuinely low and stable and the 100 ceiling never worries you, that is a real reason to choose them.
Can I move my client list and services across from SimplyBook.me?
Yes. Export your data and we will import your clients, services and staff. For the first 50 businesses we do the whole setup ourselves within 48 hours at no cost.
