A Quandoo alternative for restaurants moving before the shutdown

Quandoo is closing down, not changing hands

Quandoo has announced it is ceasing operations entirely, in a planned, phased wind-down rather than a sale or a rebrand. New reservations stop on 30 September 2026. All consumer services end the next day, 1 October 2026. The website, app and remaining infrastructure are permanently taken offline by 31 December 2026. Every one of those dates comes directly from Quandoo's own shutdown notice, not a third party summarising it.

Their own wording, quoted directly: "Our platform will continue to operate, allowing you to discover restaurants and make new reservations until 30th September 2026." Nothing changes for a booking made before then, but nothing continues after it either.

What Quandoo's own shutdown FAQ actually says

Reading the partner-facing detail matters more than the headline here, because it shapes how much time a restaurant actually has.

• Every service, the monthly subscription and the per-guest cover fee alike, has been free since 1 April 2026, through to the automatic contract end on 30 September 2026.
• Reservation and guest data can be exported only through 30 November 2026. After that, Quandoo states data is "retained only for as long as legally required, then securely deleted or anonymised."
• Diner reviews cannot be exported to another platform, at all, on Quandoo's own account: they are "stored under specific contractual and data-protection rules" that do not allow it. That is true wherever a restaurant moves next, not a gap specific to switching to Gaplessly.
• Quandoo states it is "unable to offer direct integration with other platforms or hands-on migration services." Partners get "key information," not a hands-on move.
• Booking widgets embedded on a restaurant's own website or channels need to be removed before 30 September 2026, since they stop working after that date regardless.

"Quandoo Admin", "Quandoo for restaurants" and the menu question

A few things worth clearing up plainly, since the searches around this closure are not always precise about what they mean.

Quandoo's restaurant-partner dashboard is actually called Business Center, with a separate Pro login also existing, not "Quandoo Admin" or "Quandoo Manager." "Quandoo for restaurants" was the name of its restaurant-partner marketing site, restaurants.quandoo.com, which is now torn down to a bare closure notice, the same fate as most of its old product and pricing pages.

And to be direct about it: Quandoo never had a menu-viewing or online-ordering feature. Its diner-facing restaurant pages show photos, reviews and an about section, nothing else. If what you actually need is online food ordering rather than table reservations, that is a different category of tool entirely, and worth knowing Gaplessly does not cover that either.
