Billing Schedule, what you pay us
Part of the Terms of Service. How plans are priced and billed, and how a price can change.

1. Plans
Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. The pricing page always shows the current prices; the tables below are generated from the same figures.
| Appointments plan | Price | Bookings | Yearly billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | A$19 in a month over its free band; nothing in a quieter month | Free in a month with 50 bookings or fewer | No |
| Growth | A$59 a month with 3 team members, then A$12 a month for each extra one | No monthly booking cap; fair use applies | Yes |
| Pro | A$149 a month with 10 team members, then A$10 a month for each extra one, never more than A$199 a month, for up to 25 team members | No monthly booking cap; fair use applies | Yes |
| Hospitality plan | Price | Bookings | Yearly billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venue Starter | A$49 in a month over its free band; nothing in a quieter month | Free in a month with 35 bookings or fewer; covers up to 100 bookings a month | No |
| Venue Growth | A$99 a month | Covers up to 350 bookings a month | Yes |
| Venue Pro | A$199 a month | Covers up to 1,500 bookings a month | Yes |
- A business with no card on file is on the Free plan. It has the same features as Solo or Venue Starter, and the same free band, but online booking pauses in a month past that band (section 4) instead of the month being charged.
- On the appointments plans, a team member counts toward your price only if customers can book them. Logins without a calendar, such as reception, a manager or an owner who does not take clients, are free, and a part-time team member counts as one. A team bigger than Pro covers is a conversation about Custom.
- Archived team members are free on every plan, up to a number that grows with your plan, shown in the dashboard. Moving to a smaller plan never deletes anyone.
- Custom and Venue Custom plans are agreed with you in writing, and that written agreement wins over this schedule where they differ.
2. Add-ons
Plans are named as on the appointments ladder; for a venue, Solo is Venue Starter, Growth is Venue Growth and Pro is Venue Pro.
| Add-on | Price a month | Can be added on | Included on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deposits and no-show protection | A$14.99 | Free and Solo | Growth and Pro |
| Reviews | A$14.99 | Free and Solo | Growth and Pro |
| Intake and consent forms | A$14.99 | Free, Solo and Growth | Pro |
| Your own web address (appointments) | A$14.99 | Free, Solo and Growth | Pro |
| Marketing | A$29 | Growth | Pro |
| Experiences and ticketing (venues) | A$29 | Venue Growth | Venue Pro |
- Each add-on starts with a 30-day free trial, once for each add-on. We email you a few days before the trial ends, and the add-on is billed monthly from then on unless you switch it off first.
- Switching an add-on off during its trial ends it straight away, at no cost. After that it runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and is not refunded for the rest of that month.
- If you move to a plan that includes an add-on you pay for, that add-on ends at the end of the month you have paid for (or straight away, if it is still in its trial), so you never pay for it twice.
3. Free bands, and what counts as a booking
Solo costs nothing in any month with 50 bookings or fewer, and Venue Starter in any month with 35 or fewer. A busier month is charged at the plan’s full monthly price, once, after the month has ended.
- Adding a card is your agreement that any month above the free band is charged to it, including the month you add it in, counted from the start of that month. A month that ended before you added a card is never charged.
- A booking counts in the month it was made, in your business’s own time zone, and the count closes at the end of that month. A repeat visit counts in the month it happens.
- Online, phone and staff-entered bookings count. Imported bookings never count, and neither do bookings cancelled before they start, bookings you mark as spam, or checkout holds.
- A walk-in entered within 15 minutes of its start time was seated on arrival and does not count. A booking you cancel yourself within 2 hours of its start, or after it, still counts.
- The dashboard shows your count for the month as it goes. If you think a month was charged on bookings that should not have counted, the Refund Policy covers it.
4. Booking limits, fair use and pauses
Some plans have a monthly limit. Past it, we tell you, and if nothing changes, online booking pauses for the rest of the month. A pause is never a penalty and never touches your data or the bookings you already have.
- Who can be paused: a business on the Free plan past its free band; a business on a paid hospitality plan more than 5% over the bookings its plan covers in a month, or over them two months running; and a business with a bill that has gone unpaid (section 11). Up to 5% over in a single month brings nothing more than a heads-up, and we also let you know at 80% and 100% of your plan’s bookings.
- Who is never paused for a limit: a business in its free trial, the paid appointments plans (Solo with a card, Growth and Pro), Venue Pro, and Custom plans. Growth and Pro for appointments: no booking limit, under fair use, which is about 1,000 bookings a month for each team member customers can book, and if you go well past it we get in touch to talk about it, without slowing or stopping anything. Past Venue Pro’s bookings we get in touch about Venue Custom instead.
- When: we email you as soon as you go over, and online booking cannot pause until 7 days later. A pause only starts at 9am, Monday to Thursday, in your business’s time zone, never on the day before a weekend or a public holiday, and never on the holiday itself. We email you again 2 days before it starts, when it starts, and when it ends.
- What it does: only new online bookings stop. Your booking page stays up and asks customers to call you (or to contact you, if you have not published a phone number), and an AI assistant asking about your times is told the same. Bookings you already have, customers changing or cancelling their own bookings, and bookings you or your staff enter yourselves all carry on as normal.
- When it ends: on its own at the end of the month, when the count starts again. Adding a card, or moving to a plan that covers your bookings, lifts it straight away. A pause for an unpaid bill lasts until the bill is paid.
5. Trials
- The first business in your account gets one free trial of 30 days from sign-up, with no card needed, and online booking never pauses during it (section 4). It includes every feature except text messages, marketing sends, taking payments from your customers, and connecting your own web address, because each of those costs real money or carries real risk. No card is charged during the trial, so nothing is billed when it ends: your business moves to the Free plan, with all its data, unless you choose a paid one.
- A second or later location that starts Pro at checkout may begin with a 30-day free trial. Its card is charged when the trial ends unless the plan is cancelled before then.
- Solo and Venue Starter have no trial: a quiet month already costs nothing.
- Add-on trials are in section 2.
6. Billing, plan changes and cancelling
- Growth and Pro are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Yearly costs 10 months’ price for 12 months.
- Solo and Venue Starter are billed after each month ends, and only for a month above the free band. Their billing month runs with the calendar month.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Before a yearly plan renews, you get a reminder email.
- You change plan, or switch between monthly and yearly, from Plan and billing in the dashboard. The change happens once it is paid for: the difference for the rest of your current period is charged, or credited against your next bills, straight away. If the payment does not go through, you stay on your current plan until it does.
- Switching between monthly and yearly, or from a plan billed after the month to one billed in advance, starts a new billing period that day, with credit for the unused part of the old one.
- To move down to Solo, Venue Starter or the Free plan, cancel your plan.
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in the dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for and is not refunded for the rest of it, except as the Refund Policy says. Your business then moves to the Free plan, with all its data.
- Closing your account is different from cancelling: it ends every plan and add-on straight away, with no refund of the time left, and deletes your workspace. If you have paid ahead, cancel first and close the account once that time has run out.
- Usage, such as text messages and marketing email beyond your allowance, is billed monthly after it is used, on yearly plans too.
- Manage billing also keeps your card, your billing details (including an ABN for your tax invoices) and every invoice.
7. Usage rates
- Text messages: A$0.09 for each 160-character segment sent, on Growth and Pro only, never during a trial, with none included in any plan. A message with an emoji or another special character fits 70 characters per segment. Texts may not be resold, and delivery depends on phone carriers, so it is not guaranteed.
- Marketing email: Growth with the Marketing add-on: 1,000 a month included, then A$9.99 for each further 1,000. Pro and Custom: 10,000 a month included, then A$5.99 for each further 1,000. The Free plan, Solo and Venue Starter cannot send marketing email, and neither can a trial.
- If your plan changes during a month, what you used before the change is billed at your old plan’s rate, and what you use after it at the new one.
8. The launch offer, extra locations and other promotions
The first 20 businesses to pay for Growth or Pro in each of our two products, appointments and hospitality, get 20% off: on monthly billing for their first 6 months, or on yearly billing for their whole first yearly bill.
- One place for each organization, for its first business. Extra locations get the discount below instead.
- Solo and Venue Starter do not take a place: a quiet month already costs nothing. A business that starts there, or on the Free plan, takes a place when it first pays for Growth or Pro, if one is left, and the discount starts with that first payment.
- A place is held for you while your checkout is open, and counts once it is paid. A place is never given back: if you cancel or close your account and return later, you pay the full price.
- We may give a place by hand, for example where a checkout went wrong, and correct a place recorded by mistake, such as one of our own tests. We never take the discount away from a business that earned it.
- After the discount ends you pay the plan’s list price. If that price has gone up since you joined, you will have had at least 30 days’ notice of it by email under section 9.
Extra locations: once another business in your organization pays for a plan, each further location on Pro or Venue Pro gets 15% off for good, kept even if the first location later cancels. Every location in a group of more than one is on Pro, up to 5 locations in all. For more, talk to us about Custom.
Discounts never stack. A checkout takes one discount: ours where it applies, otherwise a promotion code you enter. Any other promotion comes with its own written conditions, shown where you accept it. Where a promotion you accepted fixes a price or a notice period, its conditions win over section 9 for as long as they say.
9. Price changes
We may change a plan price, an add-on price or a usage rate. We will email you at least 30 days before a change applies to you, unless an offer you accepted says otherwise (section 8). A change never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies, and on a yearly plan we refund the unused months. A new price for businesses that join later does not change yours.
10. GST
We are registered for GST. For a business in Australia, GST of 10% is added at checkout and shown on your tax invoice. A business in New Zealand pays the same prices in Australian dollars. Australian GST does not apply to a business that is not in Australia; if an invoice to one shows it, tell us and we will refund it.
11. If a payment fails
If a payment for your plan fails, Stripe emails you and tries the card again over the next two weeks, and we email you too. Your plan and add-ons keep working while Stripe retries. Online booking pauses as section 4 describes, while bookings you already have and the ones you enter yourselves carry on. Paying the bill, or updating your card so a retry goes through, lifts that pause straight away. If it is still unpaid after the retries, the plan ends and your business moves to the Free plan, with all its data; the unpaid bill is still owed. We will not delete your data because of an unpaid amount without at least 30 days’ notice, and you can still export your bookings while the account is open.
