Tattoo studio software and tattoo booking system

A full day booked. A deposit behind it.

Gaplessly is tattoo booking software for artists, studios and piercers. Clients book an artist online, pay your deposit through your own Stripe account and fill in your consent form from a link. Solo is free up to 50 bookings a month, then A$19 excl. GST, and no booking carries a commission.

A no-show on a full-day session costs an artist the whole day. So the deposit sits on the booking from the moment it is made, your refund window is on the payment step before anyone pays, and a reschedule happens from the client’s own link.

Some of the studio stays in your hands. Consent is a required tick-box with no signature, clients cannot upload reference images, and there is no quote workflow for custom pieces. You can run consults by message and use Gaplessly from the point the session is agreed.

Deposits that hold the day

Take a fixed deposit or a percentage of the service at booking, through your own Stripe account. Clients see your refund window on the payment step, before they pay. Included from Growth up, or A$14.99 a month on Solo.

Consent before the session

Start from a consent and waiver template, add your own questions and send it from the client’s record. They tick required boxes to submit, and there is no e-signature. Forms come on Pro, or A$14.99 a month on Solo and Growth.

A full-day session or a ten-minute piercing

A service can run up to ten hours, and each one sets how often it can start online. Clients only see the artists or piercers who do that work, on the days they are in.

Changes without the DMs

Clients reschedule, cancel or message you from the link in their confirmation. The change lands on the artist’s calendar, and your deposit rule still applies.

DEPOSITS & CARD ON FILE

FAQ

Questions worth asking first.

Solo is free for one artist up to 50 bookings a month, then A$19 excl. GST, with zero commission. Deposits are included from Growth up, or A$14.99 a month on Solo. A studio with a team moves to per-seat pricing, published on the pricing page.

You set one policy for the studio: a fixed amount, or a percentage of the services booked. A client who cancels before your refund window gets it back through Stripe automatically, and inside the window you keep it. The window is 24 hours unless you change it, and an admin can refund all or part by hand.

A deposit takes money when the client books. Card on file saves their card with no charge, and an admin can charge your fee after a no-show or late cancellation. You use one or the other, and a deposit is the firmer guarantee because the fee only arrives if that later charge succeeds.

They can fill one in online, but they tick to agree rather than sign. Forms have no signature capture, date picker or photo upload, so if you need a signed form or a copy of ID, keep doing that in the studio. The questions are yours to write, and the template is a draft that makes no legal or medical claim.

No. There is no file or photo upload on the booking page or on forms. Clients can describe the idea in the Notes field or a booking question, and send you images another way.

There is no quote or design brief workflow. One way to set it up is a short consultation as its own bookable service, then the session as a booking your team creates once you have agreed the piece.

Yes. Piercers and artists are all team members with their own services and hours, and a piercing can start as often as you allow. You write your own service menu, because there is no tattoo-specific list of services.
